What We Offer

Our Services

Comprehensive pediatric speech and language therapy tailored to each child's unique needs.

🗣️

Individual Therapy Sessions

60 minute session which includes 50 minutes of direct time with the child and 10 minutes to review observations, progress, and recommendations for home and school with the caregiver. Treatment focuses on predetermined areas of weakness identified through an initial evaluation. Our therapists are trained in a variety of methods including PROMPT therapy for motor planning, Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes, Lori Overland's Sensory-Motor Approach to Feeding, oral-motor therapy, and the Kaufman Speech to Language Protocol.

👥

Group Sessions

60 minute group of two to five children who are experiencing similar areas of weakness. Typically, children in a group will begin receiving individual therapy and then move into a small group with children who are an appropriate match for the child.

📋

Comprehensive Evaluation

Includes a combination of structured/standardized testing and clinical observations to assess speech and language strengths and weaknesses. Based on your child's needs, testing may include: assessment of articulation skills, expressive and receptive language testing, assessment of word finding, language processing, critical thinking skills, written language abilities and social language skills. Assessment duration will vary based on your child's needs. Additional information is obtained from caregivers and teachers via questionnaire and interview. The fee includes a comprehensive written report.

Feeding therapy is individualized and combines both sensory-motor methods and behavioral strategies designed to meet the needs for each child.

Co-Treatment Sessions

🏫

Classroom Observation

60 minute observation of the child may be performed to help address your child's needs at school. A report will be provided to review strengths and weaknesses related to the child's speech and language needs in the classroom. Strategies and recommendations to facilitate generalization of language skills to the classroom and to improve participation and engagement will be provided.
